Core and Supplemental evaluations
- Conducted by speech pathologist and special education instructor or evaluator in area of need
- Performed at the child’s home/child care or at SteppingStonesLearningCenter, flexible scheduling options available
- Evaluation results and recommendations shared with family at time of testing
- Complete typed report will be mailed to the family in a timely manner following the evaluation
- Member ofSteppingStonesLearningCenter’s team will be present at child’s IFSP meeting
- For referral contact the Department of Health at (585) 530-BABY (5437)
- Service coordinator will contactSteppingStonesLearningCenteras the chosen evaluator, and the Evaluation Coordinator will call the family to set up the evaluation and answer questions regarding the evaluation process

- Conducted by diagnostic team, which can consist of a psychologist, speech pathologist, special education instructor or specific to the identified area of need (i.e. occupational therapist, physical therapist.)
- Performed atSteppingStonesLearningCenter, at the family’s home or at the child’s daycare setting, flexible times/days available for evaluation appointments.
- After the family contacts the school district,SteppingStonesLearningCenterwill be contacted with a request to complete the evaluation.
- Appointments: ContactKirsten Sackel, Evaluation Coordinator at (585) 467-4567 ext. 152 or by email: ksackel@steppingstoneslearning.com after obtaining permission from child’s school district.
- Evaluation results and recommendations will be shared with family at time of testing.
- Detailed typed report will be mailed to the family with the evaluation results and recommendations in a timely manner following the evaluation.
- Evaluation Coordinator will be present at child’s CPSE meeting.
